Insurance Coverage for Lactation Support

Accepting Insurance (Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Centivo, Cigna, Health Net of CA, United Health Care and other PPOs)

A travel fee ($100) will apply for home visits more than 7.5 miles outside of my travel zone.​

Lactation services are considered preventative visits under the Affordable Care Act. Unfortunately, not every insurance plan will cover lactation visits. In that case, I will provide you with a Super Bill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please refer to the National Women's Law Center Breastfeeding Toolkit for guidance in obtaining insurance coverage for lactation support:
